PROCEMA S.A. Company is one of the reference Romanian producers
and distributors in the field of shaped or unshaped structural
steel, of metallic cages and of welded meshes.
The Research, Design and Experimental Production Institute
in the Field of Construction and Building Materials is a
fully private capital joint-stock company.
PROCEMA has offered solutions to the Romanian economy as
early as1949, when the Research, Design and Experimental
Production Institute in the Field of Construction and Building
Materials was set up.
The professionalism of the services and of the products
of our company is attested by an experience of over 55 years
in the field of construction and building materials.
The thorough checking of the products by lots and orders
is carried out in our own laboratory, an accredited testing
laboratory for building materials and products as per SR
EN ISO/CEI 17025:2001.
The range of solutions was made complete when the most modern
lines for structural steel shaping were put into operation,
lines that use state-of-the-art technologies. They are able
to shape structural steel in the range OB 37, PC 52 and
PC 60 with diameters between 6-40mm and lengths up to 13.5m.
By using the equipment, cages for concrete piles are produced
with diameters between 200 and 1500mm (made of shaped structural
steel by argon welding), and in Jilava there is the most
modern equipment of the moment in our country and the only
one in Bucharest on which welded meshes of flat profile
wire - STNB - or indented - SPPB - (according to SR 438-2
and 438-4) are made, from which welded meshes are produced
from the dimension of 1200x2000mm up to 2400x6000mm and
with diameters between 4 and 8mm.
All these items of equipment totalize an output of about
8500 t/month distributed as follows:
- 1 structural steel shaping factory, of approximately
3000 t/year, located in Jilava;
- 1 factory for welded meshes of 2000 t/month located in
Jilava;
- 1 automatic line for manufacturing cages for concrete
piles, of 250 t/month, in Buftea;
- 1 structural steel shaping factory, of about
1500 t/month, in Cluj-Napoca;
- 1 structural steel shaping factory, of about
1500 t/month, in Brasov;
- 1 automatic line for manufacturing cages for concrete
piles, of 250 t/month, also in Cluj-Napoca.
The management and assurance of quality are based on the
Quality Management System SR EN ISO 90001/2001. Thus, the
orders of shaped structural steel are carried out by means
of a specialized computer program and are sent on-line to
the three shaping factories. The goods are delivered with
accurate identification labels of the reinforcement bars
(client, design, plan, element, mark, material, number of
pieces etc.) as well as with quality certificates and conformity
statements, both from our own laboratory (RENAR certificate,
in accordance with SR EN ISO/ CEI 17025:2001), and from
our suppliers (certified ISO 9001:2000 and TUV CERT) S.C.MECHEL
Targoviste S.A. and S.C. MECHEL Campia Turzii S.A. Delivery
of the goods may be made directly to the building site,
on the date set by the client, wherever in our country,
by means of our new car park of high capacity, consisting
in Mercedes, Renault and Man brand road trains of 20 tons.
